Crop Walk Rescheduled

Due to the extreme northeaster weather conditions last Sunday, the annual Crop Walk was rescheduled for this Sunday, Oct. 25. The walk begins at 2 p.m. at St. Augustine’s Church in Vineyard Haven; walkers are advised to arrive by 1:40 p.m. to check in. The walk covers six miles, but walkers may participate for whatever distance they like. Money collected through pledge sponsors goes to the Church World Service group to address the cause of hunger; 25 per cent of the money goes to the Island Food Pantry.
