Please Adopt Us

Have you ever seen an Egyptian Mau cat? If not, you should come to the Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard to see our newest cat available for adoption. Her name is Sushi and she has a most unusual, dark smoky gray coat with dark spots. She is super friendly and very unusual. Our other new cat is Foosa, an all-black, lovely, friendly neutered male. He gets along well with other cats and dogs too. These two new cats are a must-see. Our other cats , who have been at the shelter for quite awhile and really need to find homes as soon as possible, are: Pearl, an all-white geriatric cat who would love to be a lap cat or sit by the fire or on a soft couch; Shady, a handsome black female, declawed in front and with gorgeous green eyes who needs to be an indoor cat; Sky, the big, beautiful part-Siamese with beautiful blue eyes and a handsome striped coat; Squibby, the tiger Manx who is quite lonesome for attention and loves people; Max and Phoebe, cage mates who have also been at the shelter for a long time and are slowly getting over their shyness; and last but certainly not least, Ladybug, a playful tiger tabby who craves attention. All the cats are spayed or neutered and up to date on all their shots. They are all learning to get along  with each other and are hardly ever in their cages.

The shelter dogs are two really cute beagles who need some training but are friendly and eager to please. Vito is brown and white and is the younger dog, whileLouie is tri-colored and a year or so older.

And remember the Susie Fund which was established to provide medical care to our adoptees above and beyond the regular care that the shelter provides.
