Please Adopt Us
Once again the Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard has some handsome black cats, plus one very special cat. Sam is a big, black neutered male who is not too good with young children but he loves adults; Misty is a former barn cat who would probably love to be one again and is about seven years old; Debbie is the baby of the group and the closest we can come to a kitten at eight or nine months, as sweet as any kitten can be. Now for the prize of the shelter: Cora, a purebred Persian, gray with black tips on her fur. You must see her, as well as all our other sweet cats. All have been spayed or neutered and have had all their shots.
Dogs available for adoption are P.J., the Staffordshire terrier who needs a home without other dogs, and Vito the beagle. Both dogs need homes badly; they get lonesome in their cages. We do have dog walkers so they can get some exercise.
If you would like to be a dog walker please call Lisa during shelter hours: Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The telephone number is 508-627-8662
