The Vineyard Gazette office will be closed on Monday, Feb. 15, in observance of the national holiday. The office will reopen Tuesday at the usual time.

I know you folks at the Gazette are quite bright. So it comes as a surprise to me that the heading of this little snippet is "Presidents Day". Neither the federal government nor the Commonwealth of Massachusetts celebrate a day entitled Presidents Day. Both do celebrate a day entitled George Washington's Birthday.
