Provincetown will probably never be the same after Theresa Kistner Manning celebrated her major milestone, belated birthday extravaganza recently. A day at the spa, shopping in P-town, a delightful lunch and an even more wonderful dinner were enjoyed by and in Theresa’s honor with her friends Kendra Buresch, Christine Ferrone, Mary Ibsen, Amy Lilavois, Wenonah Madison, Heather Neal and Jamie Spears Vanderhoop. They may make this special weekend adventure an annual event.

Doug Plumer and his wife Kathleen were at their Aquinnah home for the long weekend.

Jay Thiese and his wife Francoise were at their Aquinnah home for the long weekend.

Woody and Jamie Vanderhoop entertained friends over the weekend who were all here to check on the progress of their new home. Joining them for the weekend were Janet Fraser Agin, Lee Agin, Elizabeth Hoover, Julius Snell and Jennifer Weston. They all enjoyed the Aquinnah Flea Market, a walk on Moshup Beach and great dining.

Congratulations and all the best to Judd Fuller and his bride Dana Radford, who tied the knot on Feb. 8 in Nashville, Tenn. Perhaps they will consider a Menemsha honeymoon in the near future.

Get well wishes and all the best to Ernestine (Rose) Kinnecom as she undergoes major surgery this coming week.

Condolences to the families of Samuel Jackson and David Tucker.

The musical Rent was another phenomenal production at the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School Performing Arts Center over the weekend. Thank you to Kate Poole Murray, Jan Wightman, Mike Tinus, Kirkland Beck and their associates for their guidance in such a profound production. Hannah Marlin (Katie Mayhew’s understudy) was the leading soloist on Friday evening, sharing the stage with performers Austin Gampher, Taylor Rasmussen, Tessa Permar, and Nick Jerome; all were superstars with their fellow classmates and performers. Tribal performers included Sarah Mendez Swift and Ella Madison Mahoney. Many students will be graduating this year and have performed in the annual musicals but there are still many up-and-coming stars to carry the torch. Keep up the great work!

Happy 36th anniversary wishes to Mark and Susan (Lana) Shea as they celebrate on Feb. 23.
