This has nothing to do with this article, I just didn't know where else to write what I wanted to say. I have lived here all my life, and I can remember when the Gazette was the only newspaper and it always did a good job informing the public of what was going and what they needed to know. I logged onto today to find out what was going on with the hurricane heading our way-and guess what, nothing. No mention of the storm at all, either in the Friday paper or on the Internet site. How is that even possible? Everyone around the island is discussing it right now, they are looking for news. Instead the Gazette , as it always does now, writes these precious little stories about things nobody cares about. The title reads News Update, but where was the update last week when the boats were cancelled because of the storm. How about the peeping Tom in OB? The lack of coverage is insulting to those who live and work here year round. No wonder people don't read the paper anymore.

Frustrated, I feel the same way especially their refusal to cover the court cases! I grew up in Edgartown and have watched the Gazette change for the worst over the years leaning further and further to the Left! It's a real shame and I for one haven't bout a Gazette or advertised with them for YEARS! I will be VERY surprised if they print this but will see. I wish they would listen to the Natives more instead of the Left Wing wash-a-shores!
