Grand Opening

Vineyard KnitWorks is having a Grand Opening Day this Sunday, Nov. 21, with refreshments and door prizes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at its new retail shop at 10 State Road, Vineyard Haven, next to Educomp.

Specializing in exotic yarns and fibers in exquisite colors and textures, or as some say, “eye candy for knitters,” Vineyard KnitWorks also carries knitting and crochet needles, patterns, buttons, knitting books and other knitting notions and accessories. Owner Alix DeSeife-Small has her own line of knitted clothing and also makes items by commission. Knitting classes and knitting circles were well attended at the shop’s former West Tisbury location and will be starting up soon in Tisbury for beginners and experienced knitters alike.
