Photo Contest

The 21st Century School Fund, Healthy Schools Campaign, and Critical Exposure announce Through Your Lens, a photo and essay contest showcasing the reality of our nation’s school facilities. Students, teachers and community members are invited to show the world what they see every day at school: the good parts, the troubling parts, the parts to be proud of and the parts we must work to change.

The 2011 contest opened for one month beginning Feb. 1, after a successful first contest that culminated in a photo exhibit on Capitol Hill as Congress considered legislation to fund the repair, renovation and construction of safe, healthy and green school buildings.

Photos from the 2011 contest will be exhibited in Washington, D.C. in connection with public dialogue on the role that school facilities can play in supporting student achievement.
