New Finance Director

David M. Espindle has been appointed finance director of Island Elderly Housing (IEH).

Mr. Espindle brings more than 30 years of executive management experience in the financial services industry to IEH. Before moving to the Island, his most recent position was executive vice president, chief operating officer, and treasurer of a leading Community Credit Union based in Lowell.

John Early, President of IEH, said in a statement, “David’s extensive financial experience and proven leadership gives me the confidence to know that IEH will continue and, perhaps, even enhance the strong financial management it has shown over the past few years.”

David, his wife, Dyan, and their two sons who are away at college, live in Vineyard Haven.

IEH has been serving the Vineyard community since 1977. It currently manages 165 quality, affordable rental apartments for the Island’s low income elderly and disabled, enabling them to lead independent lives in one of four Island campuses, Woodside Village and Aidylberg Village in Oak Bluffs and Hillside Village and Love House in Tisbury.
