Scavenger Hunt Winner

The Martha’s Vineyard Land Bank Commission has announced the winner of its 25th Anniversary Photography Scavenger Hunt, a summer-long quest in which participants searched for designated points of interest in at least 15 land bank properties.

Five separate parties successfully completed the scavenger hunt, which required participants to submit photographic evidence of having found the specified points of interest. The names of the five participants were put into a hat for a grand-prize drawing, which took place in October. Ann Rich, of Chicago, was named the winner and recipient of a rustic bench hand-crafted by the land bank property-maintenance staff. Mrs. Rich said she plans to keep the bench on-Island, at an Oak Bluffs property owned by her mother in law near the Lagoon.
