Vineyard ambulances are once again seeking volunteer EMTs for all areas of the Island. Those interested may attend an open house at the Tisbury Ambulance Facility on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to noon.

“Come meet the gang,” said Jeff Pratt, Tisbury Ambulance coordinator and president of the Martha’s Vineyard Association of EMTs. “We need new EMTs Island-wide.”

The EMT open house will provide information about applying for town sponsorship and the commitment necessary to being an EMT. EMT classes, sponsored by the Martha’s Vineyard Association of EMTs, begin in January and continue through April. Classes will be held on Friday and Saturdays. For more information, contact your local ambulance services or attend the open house.
