Farm Neck Grants

The Farm Neck Foundation, a charitable corporation created by the Farm Neck Golf Club, has awarded $36,000 in grant money to 16 Island organizations, programs and nonprofits. The grants are intended to provide charitable assistance exclusively for Martha’s Vineyard.

Recipients of the 2011 annual grants are listed below.

MV Youth Soccer Program, $1,000. Garden Gate Child Development Center, Inc., $1,300. Martha’s Vineyard Museum, $1,500. Chilmark Preschool, $1,600. Women Empowered, $2,000. The Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival, $2,000. Youth Task Force, $2,000. YMCA of Martha’s Vineyard, $2,250. American Legion Post No. 186, $2,500. Island Gymnastics Training School, Inc., $2,500. Habitat for Humanity of Martha’s Vineyard, $2,500. Vineyard Nursing Association, $2,750. Martha’s Vineyard Association of EMTs, $3,000. The Nature Conservancy Islands Program, $3,000. The Vineyard Playhouse, $3,000. National Alliance on Mental Illness - Cape Cod and the Islands Affiliate, $3,100.
