Chilmark, as I write, sits serene and warm under a beautiful full moon that is rising out of what, to me, is West Tisbury. Our town seems so lively now that the vacationers are returning and the sun has come out again with the promise of warmth. Don’t forget to change the clocks this weekend.
No doubt Sue and Brigida Larsen are looking forward to the mild weather as they continue to train for the Avon Walk for Cancer coming up in Boston on May 18 through 20. Let’s remember their efforts and support the cause.

March is the month for the students of the Chilmark School to display their works at the Chilmark Library. They always provide us with much to admire and think about. The public may view the show during regular library hours.

Julie Flanders is already back in her whirl of meetings and appointments after a fun vacation with her daughter, Bella, and other friends and family members who traveled to Hawaii for some down time in February. While there, Julie celebrated a significant birthday. Cheers from us all!
Tom Ruimurman and Janet Weidner with their sons, Peter and Andrew, traveled to Canaan, Maine, over school vacation for a visit with friends.
