Next week, each day from July 9 to July 13, Mark Bullen will hold master classes in landscape painting. The classes are from 2 to 6 p.m. and cost $125 per day.

Mr. Bullen lives in Philadelphia but frequently comes to the Vineyard to hold classes. He is a contemporary realist who feels his paintings are a metaphor for the life he sees and feels around him. A graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Mark Bullen is the founder and director of the Rittenhouse Drawing Group, and has been a visiting critic for final review in drawing at The Harvard Graduate School of Design.
