Kids’ Writing Workshop

Child writers unite. Mathea Morais, Island author and head of the writing lab at the Martha’s Vineyard Public Charter School, is offering two reading and writing workshops for kids age 9 through 14 at the West Tisbury Library. The first weeklong workshop is July 16 through 20 from 10:45 a.m. to noon. The second workshop is August 20 through 24, also at 10:45 a.m. to noon.

Writers need only bring their brains and creativity — snacks, books, pencils and paper are provided. Only ten spots are available, so preregister at the Library.
