For their school trip this year, the Oak Bluffs School eighth graders are headed to Philadelphia. Declaration of Independence, Ben Franklin, the Liberty Bell, maybe a couple of laps up the stairs to visit the Rocky statue; the city of brotherly love awaits them all. But they need your help.

On Friday, Nov. 2, beginning at 6 p.m. there will be a fundraiser at Dreamland in Oak Bluffs with door prizes, a light harvest supper provided by the Chowder Company, silent and live auctions (with Carlin Hart as auctioneer) and a lottery tree.

Tickets are available at Conroy’s Apothecary in Oak Bluffs, Jim’s Package Store, the Oak Bluffs School, from any Oak Bluffs eighth graders and at the door.
