Johnson and Wales Graduate

Elora Mary Parker of the Vineyard and Rangeley, Me., graduated from Johnson and Wales University with a degree in resort management on Feb. 20. Elora is the daughter of John and Birgitta Parker.

Scholar Athlete

Connor Chisholm of Edgartown, a senior at Boston College High School, last week signed a letter of intent to play lacrosse at Wheaton College. Connor was one of the 21 BC High School scholar-athletes who signed letters of intent on National Signing Day, committing to compete in college-level lacrosse, soccer, football or baseball at some of the nation’s top universities and colleges.

Connecticut College High Honors

Benjamin Hopkins, a member of the class of 2013 at Connecticut College and a resident of Vineyard Haven, has been named to the dean’s high honors list for the 2012 fall semester.

Gettysburg College Dean’s List

Mariah HallBilsback of West Tisbury was named to the dean’s honor list and Christine Janak of Chilmark was named to the dean’s commendation list of Gettysbury College for the fall 2012 semester.
