Jaqueline Dias and Menaem Lima of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of a son, Joao Pedro Praseres Defreitas, born on May 20 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Joao weighed 6 pounds, 3.8 ounces at birth.
