Just so people know, the word filho (pronounced feel-yo) is the Portuguese word for son. It directly translates to Jr. (Junior) when it is at the end of someone's name. My last name is Teles, not Filho. My husband is named after his father and therefore his name ends in the word filho. If you left that off of the end of his name people would mistake him for his father. For some reason people have the hardest time understanding this. Anyway, I hope this helps.
