Margot Schwarz Weston is the recipient of this year’s Spirit of the Vineyard Award. Mrs. Weston, 99, first came to the Vineyard at the age of eight. She currently serves at the nonprofit small business organization SCORE, as a volunteer at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum and with ACE MV. Mrs. Weston has a 1,000-hour pin from the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. All this adds up to a lifetime of service to the community, and in celebration she will be presented with the award at a ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Vineyard Haven Yacht Club at Owen Little Way from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The community is invited to come celebrate Mrs. Weston’s dedication and example.

The award is given out each year by Hospice of Martha’s Vineyard.
