The first baby of the new year on the Vineyard arrived during a blizzard on Jan. 3. Born at 1:33 a.m., Maicon Nilson Patricio weighed 8 pounds 14.7 ounces and measured 20.5 inches long. Little Maicon is the son of Amanda and Maicon Patricio of Oak Bluffs.
