Friends of Vineyard Soccer (FOVS), Martha’s Vineyard’s youth soccer organization, announces a new president and board of directors for 2014.

David Wallis was elected president during the board’s annual meeting on Jan. 9, taking the helm from Richard Bennett, who served the organization for three years. Mr. Wallis has been involved with Friends of Vineyard Soccer as a parent, coach and board member for 11 years. Mr. Bennett remains on the board as the director of recreation, director of equipment and director of referees.

Other individuals elected to the board include Rocco Bellebuono, Kelly Hess, David Smith, Esteban Aranzabe, Richard Bennett, Damon Burke, Manny Estrella, Zachary Frangos, Oliver Holmes, Hillary Noyes Keene, Primo Lombardi, Matei Mateev, Matt Poole, Brad Pouliot, Jeremy Provost, Kristen Reimann, Peggy Stone, Steve Taylor and Trip Wadleigh.
