If in Maryland from May 30 to July 20, check out the exhibition of Jay Lagemann’s sculptures at Academy Art Museum in Easton, Md. There will be an opening reception on May 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the museum.

Mr. Lagemann is a Chilmark artist and perhaps best known around these parts for his 17-foot tall Swordfish Harpooner piece at Menemsha Beach, created in 1994 to mark the 300th anniversary of the town.
