Martha’s Vineyard Savings Bank opened its new branch in Falmouth this week, the bank’s second off-Island location and ninth branch overall.
The full-service Falmouth branch, located at 397 Palmer Avenue, opened for business on June 2, the bank said in a press release. The bank branch is 3,000 square feet and added six new jobs to Falmouth.
The bank’s headquarters are in Edgartown. As of Dec. 31 the bank reported $720 million in total assets under management.
“This new branch not only expands banking accessibility for local residents, but also provides added convenience for those traveling to and from the Vineyard,” the press release stated.
To celebrate the grand opening, Martha’s Vineyard Savings Bank is hosting a two week opening celebration at the Falmouth branch, including banking offers and a family barbecue and complimentary document shredding on June 14 .
