Nancy and Geoffrey Caraboolad of Edgartown joyfully announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter Elizabeth Avery Caraboolad to James Joseph Trahon, son of James and Doreen Trahon of Cohasset.

Elizabeth and James will marry on Saturday, Oct. 18, at St. Elizabeth Church. The Rev. Robert F. VerEecke, SJ, will perform the ceremony.

Elizabeth worked as a child life specialist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute until last year when she decided to leave and further her academic career. She is currently working towards her master’s degree in interior architecture at Suffolk University. James graduated from Merrimack College in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He currently works for Oracle as a regional sales manager. The couple will reside in Boston.
