A search committee has been appointed to find a replacement for the outgoing executive director of the Martha’s Vineyard Commission.
Mark London announced to the commission three weeks ago that he will retire by the end of next summer.
Last Thursday, MVC chairman Fred Hancock appointed eight commissioners, including himself, to a search committee. The committee will include John Breckenridge, Josh Goldstein, Joan Malkin, Katherine Newman, Douglas Sederholm, Linda Sibley and Jim Vercruysse.
According the MVC bylaws, executive director search committees are to be appointed from among the commissioners. Any commissioner may take part in the meetings.
