Martha’s Vineyard Community Services recently announced that Jan Hatchard has rejoined the agency in a newly created position of donor relations manager. The hiring comes on the heels of a development restructuring plan with goals of growing major gifts, cultivating new donors and managing the image of the organization. Ms. Hatchard’s experience includes eight years, from 2000 to 2008, as the director of development and communications at MVCS.

As part of the reorganization, Nell Coogan will transition into the role of director of operations and community relations. Continuing to work closely with Ms. Coogan and the development team will be Mary Korba in a newly created position of communications and web content manager. Rounding off the team will be Jessica Rogers, who joined the agency in December as development associate and events coordinator. Ms. Rogers will be responsible for the coordination of MVCS special events, including the Possible Dreams Auction and biannual Electronic Disposals Day.
