The benefit levels for fuel assistance households have increased. The heating season total benefit levels now range from $460 to $1,095 for non-subsidized residents, and $325 to $765 for some subsidized housing residents. Eligibility for fuel assistance also provides 12 months of discounts on electric, natural gas and Verizon telephone bills. 

To qualify, applicants must meet the following household income limits: one-person household, $32,065; two-person household, $41,932; three-person household, $51,798; four-person household, $61,664, and five-person household, $71,530.

If you qualify for fuel assistance, you may also qualify for free weatherization and heating system repair. Applications will be accepted through April 30 and can be obtained through Community Services by calling 508-696-7563, or the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head, Aquinnah, at 508-645-9265 extension 130.
