Project Next, The Print Shop and Alex’s Place are coming together to provide some alcohol-free opportunities for socializing. Young adults ages 18 to 26 are invited to a series of four concerts at Alex’s Place at the YMCA, the first one featuring Phil DaRosa, Jason Nichols and Nat D’Angelo on Saturday, March 21, from 7 to 10 p.m. Three more will follow: March 28, April 4 and April 11.

An initiative of the MV Task Force, Project Next hopes to provide support for young adults through counseling, drug and alcohol-free events, a mentorship program and through social marketing. The Print Shop is a new professional recording studio on the Island created, owned and operated by Phil daRosa. Alex’s Place is home to open mic night and other events for young people.
