Directors and actors get to shine during the Island Theatre Workshop’s One Act Play Festival opening on Friday, March 20, at 7:30 p.m. at the Katharine Cornell Theatre.

This year’s offerings include Is It Me, On the Harmful Effects of Smoking, The First Fireworks, She’s Fabulous, Trifles and Pillow.

The festival includes Friday’s evening performance, followed by more performances on March 21, 27 and 28 at 7:30 p.m. and two Sunday matinees on March 22 and 29 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $15 or $25 for two. Due to mature language and situations, the performances are recommended for adults.
