National Poetry Month gets a kickoff when Lee McCormack, Arnie Reisman and Rose Styron present their works at the Vineyard Haven Public Library on Wednesday, April 1, at 7 p.m.

Mr. McCormack was the Island’s first poet laureate and Mr. Reisman, a columnist with the Vineyard Gazette, is the current poet laureate. Mrs. Styron has published three books of poetry and her work has appeared in Harper’s, the Yale Review, the Hopkins Review and American Poetry Review, among other publications.
