The Easter bunny will be making the rounds on the Vineyard this weekend, with enough Easter egg hunts to fill several baskets.
The Oak Bluffs library hosts an egg hunt organized by age group on Saturday morning, April 4, beginning at 10 a.m.; bring your own basket or bag.
Long Point Wildlife Refuge in West Tisbury offers its annual spring egg hunt at 10:30 a.m. sharp on Saturday. You can also stop by to decorate eggs and check out other outdoor activities.
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services hosts its first-ever egg hunt at its campus across from the regional high school. This event celebrates Island veterans and their families and will include crafts, music and healthy snacks. The fun begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
After a 10 a.m. egg hunt on Saturday, the West Tisbury library hosts family crafts, including decorating eggs with their new EggBot. What’s an EggBot? An art robot used to draw on spherical objects — like eggs, of course.
The Aquinnah Public Library hosts its egg hunt Saturday at 10:30 a.m. There are lots of fun crafts and refreshments planned following the search for eggs.
Chappy offers an egg hunt at the community center from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, followed by tea and cookies. Get there on time; these eggs go fast.
If Saturday doesn’t work out for you, there’s ample opportunity to hunt for eggs on Easter day. United Methodist Church hosts a community Easter egg hunt on the Tabernacle grounds at 9:15 a.m.
The Chilmark Community Church offers an egg hunt after its 10 a.m. service on Sunday, and Grace Episcopal Church in Vineyard Haven will host a hunt after its service at 11:15 a.m.
The Edgartown Lighthouse is the backdrop for an Easter egg hunt hosted by the Harbor View Hotel. You can find eggs on the hotel grounds and then follow them right down to the lighthouse, which will be open during the event. Activities get underway at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The First Congregational Church of West Tisbury will hold a community worship service at the Agricultural Hall on Sunday at 11 a.m., and the hunt begins right after. The Faith Community Church egg hunt begins at 11:45 a.m. Then there’s the annual Easter egg hunt hosted by Vineyard Gardens in West Tisbury at 1 p.m..
