Bradley Memorial Church, one of the first African American churches on the Island, is the subject of a new exhibit that tells the story of the Denniston family and the church itself. Through objects, archives and oral histories that make up this large collection, the story of the family and the church and an important part of Oak Bluffs history comes to life.

The exhibit opens at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum on Friday, April 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. The opening is free for members and $7 for nonmembers. For more information, visit mvmuseum.org.
