Emilee Katherine Whorton, daughter of Everett Lee Whorton Jr. of Edgartown and Katherine Anne Wolfe of East Bridgewater, was married on April 2 to Michael Peter Valenti. He is the son of Peter James Valenti and Patricia J. Mello Valenti of Edgartown.

The ceremony took place at the East Chop Lighthouse and was performed by Michael’s brother, Andrew John Valenti.
