A jury selection committee recently reviewed the artwork of 21 Island artists to exhibit at the Feldman Family Artspace of the Martha’s Vineyard Film Center. About half of the submissions were from photographers, the other half painting and illustration. This year’s selected artists and their exhibit dates are: Jeffery Canha (April 13 — May 21); Alejandro Carreno (June 8 — June 29); Jack Yuen (June 29 — July 20); Ellen Liman (August 17 — August 31); Vincent Chahley (August 31 — Sept. 21); Rez Williams (Sept. 28 — Oct. 19); Max Skjoldebrand (Oct. 19 — Nov. 9); Henry Stevenson (Nov. 9 — Dec. 7); Elizabeth Taft (Dec. 7 — Jan. 4; and Peter Dryer (Jan. 4 — Feb. 15).

All of the artwork will remain up throughout the duration of the shows. Each artist has agreed to donate 15 per cent of the purchase price of any artwork sold during the show to the Martha’s Vineyard Film Society.

The Feldman Family Artspace at the Martha’s Vineyard Film Center exists thanks to the generous contribution of Sam Feldman. Paul Brissette serves as the volunteer coordinator of the film center’s art shows.
