The late Geoff Pease, a 2001 graduate of Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School, was a talented artist and avid skateboarder. Last year, the Martha’s Vineyard Skate Park was renovated in his honor. This year, his friends have launched another tribute to him: the Geoff Pease Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The scholarship will honor Geoff’s memory by providing financial support each year to members of the high school graduating class who are pursuing a four-year degree in the visual arts.

Ben Brisson and Dean Golder, who created the memorial scholarship in honor of their friend, said their goal is to raise enough money to offer a minimum award of $1,000 each year.

Tax-deductible contributions can be made online at GeoffPeaseMS.org, or checks can be sent to the Office of the Superintendent, attn: Mary Lee Schroeder, 4 Pine street, Vineyard Haven, MA, 02568. The check should be payable to the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School, and include Geoff Pease Scholarship in the memo line.
