Efforts to protect historic buildings and neighborhoods is the topic of a roundtable discussion next week.
Members of town historic district commissions, planning boards and other organizations, and members of the public are invited to attend the meeting at the Martha’s Vineyard Commission offices in Oak Bluffs at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 7.
Chris Skelly, the Massachusetts Historical Commission director of local programs, will participate in the discussion.
Topics include what historic commissions, the Martha’s Vineyard Commission, and other organizations can learn from each other, whether they can collaborate more, and pressing issues regarding historic preservation on the Island.
