Edgartown Democrats will be holding a caucus on Saturday, May 30 at noon at the Edgartown Public Library.

The goal will be electing four delegates and four alternates to the 2015 Massachusetts Democratic Convention, which will take place Sept. 19 in Springfield.

The caucus is open to all registered Democrats in the town of Edgartown and the democratic committee welcomes all participants. Delegates will be divided equally between men and women, and all ballots will be written and secret. Youth, minorities, or those with disabilities who are not elected as delegates can apply to be add-on delegates.

The town of democratic committee will hold a short meeting immediately after the caucus.
