The Sense of Wonder Creations spring art show and benefit will be held on Friday and Saturday June 12 and 13 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Sense of Wonder Creations studio, 23 Grove avenue, Vineyard Haven.

The two-day event will feature art work created over the year by Sense of Wonder students. The party will also include music by Steel Breeze, food, ice cream, a drumming workshop, face painting, balloon and pipe cleaner animals, and the unveiling of an 8 x 12 foot mural painted by Jack Yuen, Aaron Teves and Dayanna Middleton. The mural will be hung on the Felix Neck barn this summer.

All the proceeds from the celebration will go to Sister Flora’s Orphanage in Île-à-Vache, Haiti, which Pam and Nat Benjamin visited last winter. Sense of Wonder Creations is a nonprofit organization. Visit senseofwondercreations.org.
