Tisbury is turning 344 years young and celebrating with its annual birthday street party bash on Wednesday, July 8. The tradition began in 1971 to celebrate Tisbury turning 300 years old, and each year the fair gets bigger and more delicious.

Food vendors from all over line the streets, shops open their doors, musicians big and small turn out, and so do the town firemen. It is a day to wander up and down Main street, taking it all in by sight, sound and taste.

The event runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
