Larsen Schuster, 17, of Simsbury, Conn., was first across finish line in the seventh annual 5K Run for Jabberwocky last Saturday.

Erin Merritt, first woman to cross the finish line and third overall with a time of 19:55.76.

There were 475 finishers in the 5K race held at the Farm Institute in Katama. Another 30 runners competed in the half-mile fun run. All proceeds from the race benefit Camp Jabberwocky, a summer camp for children and adults with disabilities.

Larsen won the race with a time of 18:36.55. Erin Merritt was the first woman to cross the finish line and came in third overall with a time of 19:55.76.

Dennis Clark, 26, of Edgartown came in second with a time of 19:51.95 and Max Moritz, 17, of Wantagh, N.Y., crossed the finish line at 20:11.56 to come in third in the men’s division and fourth overall.

Nicole Shapiro, 39, of Pittsburgh, Pa. was the second place finisher in the women’s division with a time of 20:24.45, and Merrill Eastman, 12, of Edgartown came in third among women with a time of 21:26.07
