I apologize for the rather stilted and short column this week. I am awaiting the installation of a new computer in the coming week and should have it for next week. It has been a tough week, what with the unexpected crash of my faithful computer and we discovered that my companion, Lucy, has a serious tick infection. Please check your pet’s blood because none of the tick protection methods are 100 per cent.
