Abby and Jared Stobie of Sandwich are proud to announce the birth of a baby boy, Luke Robert Stobie, on Oct. 14 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Luke was due Jan. 9 but decided to come three months early. He weighed two pounds, four ounces at birth. He will stay in the NICU, where he is making great strides, until he is big enough to come home. Luke is the grandson of Deb and Jim Brown of Oak Bluffs, Tim Stobie of Vineyard Haven and Tania Tilton of Edgartown.
