How would you describe World Jam Jazz with seeds in Africa, Cuba, Jamaica, Ireland, the Balkans and Scandinavia? It’s a bit of a Thurlow you might say. Paul Thurlow.

Mr. Thurlow and his band, featuring Alejandro Carreño on congas, Anthony Esposito on drums and Nancy Jephcote on keyboards and violin, will be hosting a CD release party for Key>Stroke, Mr. Thurlow’s latest musical offering, on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Thurlow often performs in the band The Flying Elbows, which specializes in the fiddle, but at the Katharine Cornell Theatre on Saturday he will be offering what has been described as “hot, danceable and eclectic music.”

Admission to the show is $15, and children get in free.
