We have some new feline arrivals at the shelter. First up is a gorgeous eight-year old purebred Russian Blue named Lola. She is playful, sweet, loves attention, and has a lovely purr. Another new arrival is Lyle, a five-year-old male tuxedo who is also very friendly and affectionate. Our third new cat is a large brown tabby. His name is Tosh and he is 11 years young. All three will be joining our other residents in the cat room.

Still in the cat room are four-year-old tuxedo Maryanne, who loves attention and is quite affectionate once she gets to know you; 11-year-old white and black boy Chaps, who has been coming out of his shell and is now interacting with the volunteers; and the old man Milo, whose adoption fee will be waived due to his advanced age. And our lovely long-haired, green-eyed Beauty is still greeting people in the lobby. Please stop by if you are looking for new best friend, or even just to visit our residents. They all love and need the attention.

Any rabbit lovers out there? Arriving imminently are two Angora rabbits, a male and a female. Please contact the shelter for more information on this pair.

Good news. The stray cat from Norton avenue in Vineyard Haven, Daisy, has been reunited with her family. They had been away on vacation and she somehow managed to get out. The reunion was a happy one for all. We would again like to remind everyone to please not feed any cats that you assume to be strays. They may have homes and this can often prevent them from returning to their families.
