Island non profit C.E.O.(Creative Entrepreneur with Opportunities on Martha’s Vineyard) is beginning a year-long series of workshops for women in business.

The program is geared toward women with experience or interest in business. The first workshop, What’s Next —A Mini M.B.A. for Women in Business, is best for women who have been in business for at least three years, with topics including setting new goals for growth, creating a three-year business plan, marketing plans and opportunities, and financial support opportunities for thriving businesses.

The workshop will be held from 8:30 to 2 p.m. on March 5 at the Baylies Room of the Old Whaling Church. The day begins with coffee and informal networking and will include lunch.

The session will be moderated by Susan Silk, a Service Corps of Retired Executives mentor. Speakers include digital marketing professional C.J. Rivard and Edgartown National Bank CFO Judy Soules.
