An April workshop series aims to help businesses and nonprofits make the most of social media. Six workshops are scheduled throughout April at the Vineyard Harbor Motel, with more possible depending on community response. The workshops will be two hours long and feature social media experts and consultants; tickets are $35 and available at ticketsMV.com/social.

The workshops are organized by CJ Rivard of the digital marketing agency Local Biz M.o.M.

The first workshop will take place April 6 from noon to 2 p.m. and will focus on social media for non profits. An evening workshop that day will teach those with business or personal brand accounts how to set goals, create a strategy, and measure success.

A workshop on using Instagram will be held April 12 from noon to 2 p.m.
