The spring season is in full swing for M.V. United teams, and seven teams took to the pitch last weekend.

The U11 boys team scored a 3-0 victory over Oceana at home. Darien Kral scored two goals while Anthony Dias had his first goal of the season. Christian Flanders and Liam Marek added stellar defense. The team plays at home against Mariner on Saturday at 12:15 p.m.

The U14 boys won their home opener against Dartmouth, 6-1. Tim Wallis scored his first goal of the season and then notched another late in the game. Dash Christy, Emanuel Silva, Moushe Oliveira, and Joshua Sampaio also contributed goals for the Vineyard. The team will face Freetown Lakeville Saturday at home. Game time is 2:45 p.m.

The U10 boys had 27 total shots on the goal on their way to a 10-1 victory against Fall River. Kaua Lima scored three goals, Porter Moehnke scored two goals, and Sam MacPherson, Quinn Cathey, Joshua Rodriguez, Shaun Rogers-Thomas and Joshua Pereira scored one apiece. The boys travel to Westport on Sunday for a 2:30 p.m. game.

In other action, the U11 girls team lost 6-2 against Oceana, while the U18 girls lost 3-0 against Dartmouth. The U18 boys lost 2-1 against Freetown Lakeville, and the U13 boys fell 2-0 against Fall River. The U13 boys play Norton at home at 11 a.m. Saturday.
