Some of Broadway’s big names will be coming to the Vineyard this summer for the inaugural Broadway at the Performing Arts Center concert series.

Producer Mark Cortale began the summer concert series in Provincetown in 2011, and since then it has expanded to stages from London to Los Angeles. This year the series lands on the Island.

The series begins July 9 with Grammy, Emmy, and Tony award nominee Vanessa Williams, followed by Broadway and television star Megan Hilty on July 16. Tony Award-winner Kristin Chenoweth, known for portraying Glinda in Wicked on Broadway, will perform two shows on Sunday, August 14.

Broadway and television stars —and married couple — Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman will be on the Island on August 29 to perform their show Summer of 69: No Apostrophe. The series closes with Broadway star and Tony Award-winner Patti LuPone, who will perform her show Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda on Sept. 2.

All shows take place at the Performing Arts Center at the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School. Tickets range from $75 to $250 and are available at vineyardbroadway.com; a season pass is $840.

The series is sponsored by Cape Air, Harbor View Hotel, and Hy-Line Cruises, and the series will benefit the Tyler Clementi Foundation, which promotes safe and inclusive spaces for LGBT youth and families.
