The shelter is still overrun with kittens. They’re everywhere, and all 11 are now spoken for. The older litter will be leaving for their forever homes shortly.
Lyle, the indoor/outdoor tuxedo, has been adopted into a lovely home where he will be able to soak up all the love as an only cat. And our elderly orange cat, Milo, has been adopted as well by a young lady who likes to read to him. Congratulations to both of these boys and their new families.
Thank you to everyone who attended Pink and Green Weekend. It was a big success, with more attendees than ever. And what fun to see the dogs in their finest spring attire.
Lastly, the shelter would like to remind all pet owners that we are now into the worst of tick season, so make sure to stay current with your preventative measure of choice.
Shelter hours are Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The shelter is closed Sunday and Monday. The telephone number is 508-627-8662.
